Business students launch new student-run podcast, FinnU Overview

FinnU launching COVID-19 Vaccine Reporter to track percent vaccinated on campus

Finlandia University is launching a new initiative to track how many within the FinnU community have been vaccinated against COVID-19. Those who have received the vaccine can self-report their vaccine in the new COVID-19 Vaccine Reporter.

The purpose of the COVID-19 Vaccine Reporter is to collect data on vaccine distribution within the Finlandia community. Registration for Summer & Fall 2021 Classes Now Open to All Students

Registration for spring classes is now underway for all students. Students must communicate with their academic advisor to receive their PIN. This number has been refreshed and is different from the one you would have used to sign up last semester. You can email your advisor as a form of communication at this time to work out your course schedule and to receive your PIN.

Those registered by Wed., March 31 at 4pm will be entered into a prize drawing.

Finlandia offering summer lodging for temporary seasonal employees

Finlandia University will be opening the doors of Finlandia Hall this summer for temporary seasonal employees of the Keweenaw looking for a place to stay. 

Beginning May 10, FinnU will have single and double occupancy rooms available for nightly or weekly use. Single rooms with a private sink, shared toilet and shower with same gender suitemate are available for $125 weekly/$25 nightly, per occupant. Don’t miss out on discounted online summer courses

Finlandia University will once again be offering discounted summer courses for students. Instead of the usual $779 per credit hour during the fall and spring semester, summer courses are offered at $250 per credit hour. If you are a non-degree seeking student, you may audit the courses for $75 per credit hour.

Courses are 8 weeks long, online, and run from May 17-July 9, 2021.

The Finlandia University Student Nurses Association (FUSNA) is hosting its annual Pancake Breakfast on Saturday, April 10 at Gloria Dei Church in Hancock from 8:30 a.m. to noon.
