Emma Dorst has joined Finlandia as the new Director of Career Services for the new Seaton Center for Vocation and Career (CVC). Finlandia University alumna, Jan Bigalke, recently accepted the role as Principal at Ludington Area Catholic School. She earned an associate degree in nursing from Suomi College and has more than 16 years of experience working as a registered nurse. After getting her associates from Suomi College, Bigalke earned a bachelor’s degree in secondary education from Ferris State University and a master’s degree in educational leadership from the University of Dayton.

Finlandia University is proud to announce its Fall 2019 semester Dean’s and Honors List Students. In total 121 students earned honors, including 76 who earned Dean’s List honors for having a Grade Point Average of 3.75 or above.
To be eligible for either list students must have completed 12 or more credits and had no grade below a “C.” Dean’s List students earned a GPA of 3.75 or above, while Honors List students had a GPA between 3.50 and 3.749.
