Michigan’s FAFSA priority deadline extended to May 1

Michigan high school seniors who want to be given priority consideration for State of Michigan financial aid programs now have extra time to complete their Free Application for Federal Student Aid, according to the Michigan Department of Treasury. Early Bird Scholarship available for incoming students who submit transcripts by Jan. 1

Finlandia University is awarding a new, one-time $500 scholarship for Fall 2022 to students who submit their transcripts to Finlandia Admissions by Jan. 1, 2022. The Early Bird Scholarship is awarded to the student upon acceptance to the university.

Treasury MI providing Virtual College Financial Aid Nights throughout Feb.

Students and families looking for help paying for college are encouraged to register for a Virtual College Financial Aid Night provided by Treasury’s MI Student Aid team. Sessions will be available every Tuesday and Thursday evening during the month of February from 6:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. EST.
