Michigan’s FAFSA priority deadline extended to May 1

Michigan high school seniors who want to be given priority consideration for State of Michigan financial aid programs now have extra time to complete their Free Application for Federal Student Aid, according to the Michigan Department of Treasury. The FAFSA priority deadline has been extended to May 1.

Taking a spin on the hit TV show “Shark Tank”, Finlandia University held its inaugural FinnU Shark Day on Wednesday, March 9 with more than 60 high school students from L’anse, Baraga Area and Calumet in attendance. The Lake Effect Scholarship is here!

This week, Enrollment Counselor Kat Hanson skijors by the Finlandia Fridays set to talk with host Jordan Shawhan about the new Lake Effect Scholarship, which allows eligible commuting and on-campus living students to enjoy the benefits of cost-sharing education. Finlandia is pleased to welcome new Enrollment Counselor Kat Hanson to the Enrollment team. Hanson comes to Finlandia University with an educational background from St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota with two Bachelor of Arts degrees in English and Race & Ethnic Studies.
