Seniors Kaylor Holmstrom and Dana Pakulski recounted tales of their times as Paloheimo Fellows this week on Finlandia Fridays. The Paloheimo Fellowship is an opportunity for Finlandia students to study a topic in Finland for several weeks for little-to-no cost.

Registration begins November 12, schedule advisor meeting now

Finlandia University students are reminded that spring 2019 registration will open November 12, and now is the time to schedule your appointment with your advisor. It’s suggested to meet with your advisor, and begin to think of the other pre-registration tasks:

The Paloheimo Fellows Program, a competitive study abroad opportunity, is now taking applications for the Spring 2019 class. The deadline to apply is November 16, 2018.

Author Lindsay King-Miller was invited to campus this week to speak about her book Ask a Queer Chick; a Guide to Sex, Love, and Life for Girls Who Dig Girls. While on campus King-Miller dropped by Finlandia Fridays to discuss and inform others of her experiences.

Michael Friend .COM exhibition opens October 25

Finlandia University Gallery will present Michael Friend .COM, an exhibit of large-scale paintings. .COM will be on display at the Finlandia University Gallery, located in the Finnish American Heritage Center, Hancock, from October 25 to November 20, 2018.

Finlandia University has named Father Corbin Eddy Visiting Campus Pastor for the 2018-19 academic year.
