121 honored on Fall 2019 Dean’s and Honors List

Finlandia University is proud to announce its Fall 2019 semester Dean’s and Honors List Students. In total 121 students earned honors, including 76 who earned Dean’s List honors for having a Grade Point Average of 3.75 or above.

To be eligible for either list students must have completed 12 or more credits and had no grade below a “C.” Dean’s List students earned a GPA of 3.75 or above, while Honors List students had a GPA between 3.50 and 3.749. Finlandia University alumna Melissa Meier (’09), MSN, APRN, NC-C, CCRN accepted a new position at UP Health System-Portage with its Hospitalist Team.

On Saturday, January 25 author of “Suomalaiset“, Mark Munger will be visiting North Wind Books for a book signing and author discussion.

Munger recently released the final book in his historical trilogy, Kotimaa. In his new release, readers follow immigrant Anders Alhomaki on his journey from Finland to Minnesota in the 1890s to Finland’s Centennial Independence Day.

All employees and students are invited to have a professional portrait taken on Friday, January 23 at the Finlandia Hall Dining Room. This session will run from 11:45 a.m. to 1:15 p.m.
