Munger recently released the final book in his historical trilogy, Kotimaa. In his new release, readers follow immigrant Anders Alhomaki on his journey from Finland to Minnesota in the 1890s to Finland’s Centennial Independence Day.
“The first two novels in the trilogy have been popular in the Finnish-American community,” said April Stevens, North Wind Books Manager. “There is not a better time than Heikinpäivä to have Munger visit.”
Munger a native of Minnesota, has written 10 books and recently retired from the four-county region of Northern Minnesota where he was a District Court judge.
Those interested in having their book signed should visit North Wind Books at 11 am Saturday, January 25. Munger will be available to sign books until 1 pm when the author’s discussion begins.
