Hancock Promise application deadline extended to May 1 for Hancock grads

Finlandia’s Hancock Promise deadline has been extended to May 1. This means Hancock Central High School students who are interested in attending FinnU in Fall 2022 will have additional time to start their application process.

The Hancock Promise allows for Hancock Central High School graduates to attend Finlandia University at a tuition cost of up to only $2,500 per school year. Beginning in 2009, approximately 18-26 students have taken advantage of the program annually.

Applications now open for 2022-23 Portage Health Foundation Scholarship at Finlandia University

Applications are now being accepted for the Portage Health Foundation Scholarship opportunity to Finlandia University students studying healthcare and coming from Houghton, Keweenaw, Baraga or Ontonagon counties. The scholarship can be awarded to the same person for up to four years.

This scholarship is open to returning and incoming FinnU students.

Skijoring and Scholarships with Kat Hanson

The Lake Effect Scholarship is here!

This week, Enrollment Counselor Kat Hanson skijors by the Finlandia Fridays set to talk with host Jordan Shawhan about the new Lake Effect Scholarship, which allows eligible commuting and on-campus living students to enjoy the benefits of cost-sharing education. On this week’s episode of Finlandia Fridays, Education Partner Manager and Dual Enrollment Advisor Lauren Huested joins the show to talk about FinnU Shark Day. A play on the show Shark Tank, the March 9 event focuses on teaching students in their junior and senior years about entrepreneurship, creativity, working in a team and public speaking skills. Giving Tuesday starts now! Today we make a difference

At Finlandia, Giving Tuesday means giving back to students. Today, all donations received go directly toward Finlandia’s annual scholarship programs to help provide affordable, quality higher education to all. Currently, 100% of all domestic full-time Finlandia students receive aid.

Finlandia University is proud to offer the Dave and Elsa Brule scholarship to our International School of Art and Design.

Study abroad scholarship open until September 29

The Cooperative Center for Study Abroad (CCSA) is pleased to announce that the new Winter 2017-18 CCSA Scholarship is open for student applications. The deadline is September 29, 2017.

The CCSA Scholarship encourages student participation in CCSA and supports students with verifiable financial need based upon their home campus status and recommendation.

Finlandia announces $20,000 art and design scholarship competition

Thanks to the generous support of David and Elsa Brule, Finlandia University is proud to announce a three-year commitment totaling $120,000 in art and design scholarships.
