ISAD program undergoing changes for Fall 2021

Finlandia’s International School of Art & Design (ISAD) will be undergoing program changes beginning in the Fall 2021.

Beginning fall 2021, FinnU will no longer accept new students into the Fiber & Fashion, Intermedia, and Ceramic Design bachelor degree programs. These programs are not completely closed, but enrollment interest over the years has waned and ISAD Dean Denise Vandeville says the programs will be suspended until enrollment interest grows and the school can sustain its re-emergence. Distributing Design in the Lone Star State with Graphic Design Alumna Marina Dalton (’19)

Class of 2019 alumna Marina Dalton has been hard at work heading the design department at Great Plains Distributors, located in Lubbock, Texas. Finlandia University is proud to offer the Dave and Elsa Brule scholarship to our International School of Art and Design.

Small class sizes provide valuable opportunities for students

When it comes to student-faculty ratio, the smaller the better. Fewer students per class means more individualized attention, feedback from professors, better networking opportunities, and it allows you connect with classmates and build friendships that will last a lifetime.

For Finlandia University students, the average classroom size was eight students during the 2017-18 academic year.
