Chassell High School Visits Finlandia University’s International School of Art & Design

In the last year, the International School of Art & Design has welcomed local high schools to visit, tour and experience all that the school has to offer.

Students are brought to the campus and get their hands on one of the disciplines within the school of art & design. Previous students have made prints in the fiber studio and Chassell students had the opportunity to test out their hands at making coil pots in the ceramics studio with Kenyon Hansen, ceramics instructor and visiting artist

Reaching out to the local community and getting students interested in the arts is a vital way to continue to grow as a university and as a member of the copper country art community.
