Finlandia University is excited to welcome back Dana Pakulski, a 2018 alum, who is one of two Assistant Librarians at Maki Library. Pakulski received her Bachelor’s degree in English and plans to earn her Master’s degree in Library Services and Sciences.

The Maki Library invites you to participate in the annual First Year Student Information Literacy survey through the link below. Information literacy skills are related to research skills and knowing how to use library resources. It will take about 10 minutes to complete and gives staff at the library information they can use to provide better service to students. The Sulo & Aileen Maki Library at Finlandia University will be joining in the Juhannus Mid-Summer Festival activities by holding an open house beginning Wednesday, June 21 and ending on June 28. The public is welcome to come and explore the library’s collection of early 20th century Finnish postcards, vintage Finnish travel posters and a book display featuring Finnish art and design books. There will also be a book sale with new books, ex-library books, DVDs, audiobooks and more.
