10 FinnU Vacc to School Challenge Textbook Award winners announced
August 26, 2021In July, Finlandia University announced the FinnU Vacc to School Challenge with the goal of reaching a campus wide vaccination status of 70 percent. As part of this challenge, 10 student textbook awards were announced along with the chance for students to win even more prizes. Today, Finlandia is proud to announce the 10 winners of the FinnU Vacc to School Challenge Textbook Awards. $500 is being loaded onto their student accounts at North Wind Books and can be used to purchase required course texts for the semester. If they have already purchased books for fall, these funds can be used for spring 2022.

FINLANDIA HOSTING FREE ON-CAMPUS VACCINE CLINIC THURSDAY, AUGUST 26
Sponsored by Upper Great Lakes Family Health Center, Finlandia University will be hosting a FREE on-campus vaccine clinic in Nikander Hall Room 14A on Thursday, August 26. From 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., FinnU students and employees are able to receive either the Moderna or Johnson & Johnson vaccine. As part of the FinnU Vacc to School Challenge, students are receiving $100 for reporting their vaccines through the FinnU Vacc to School Challenge vaccine reporter. Additionally, students who enter have the chance to win prizes during an Instagram Live Prize Drawing event at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, August 27 including a Nintendo Switch, MacBook Pro, AirPods, Beats headphones, ski passes, gift cards to local eateries, Xbox Live subscriptions and more! A final $2,000 CASH grand prize will be announced once the university hits its 70% challenge goal.
