FinnU Shark Day hosting local students for entrepreneurship competition

On this week’s episode of Finlandia Fridays, Education Partner Manager and Dual Enrollment Advisor Lauren Huested joins the show to talk about FinnU Shark Day. A play on the show Shark Tank, the March 9 event focuses on teaching students in their junior and senior years about entrepreneurship, creativity, working in a team and public speaking skills. Presidential Search Update – Feb. 24, 2022

Over the past several weeks, the Presidential Search Committee has worked closely with the national executive search firm, Academic Search. Together, the pair have reached significant milestones in the search for Finlandia’s next president with the creation of the prospectus and the official launching of the search.

Joy Harjo is the incumbent Poet Laureate of the United States. 4th annual Kalevalathon to be held on Feb. 24

Kalevalathon is back again for the fourth year. Join the Finlandia community to celebrate Kalevala Day on Thursday, February 24, from 9 a.m. to approximately 7 p.m. Eastern time via Zoom as they read the Finnish epic poem, the Kalevala.
