The Bridge magazine goes interactive

75th edition of the Bridge now available online

Finlandia University’s annual donor magazine, the Bridge, is now available online. In a new and exciting format, viewers can interact with this year’s issue like never before.

Across 32 pages of clickable stories, links and highlights, this year’s magazine celebrates Finlandia’s friends and family, including those who contributed to and supported Finlandia University throughout the year.

Small class sizes promote experiential learning and quality internships at Finlandia’s International School of Business

Copper Country’s 1 Million Cups (1MC) allows entrepreneurs to share business ideas and get feedback before, during and after launch. 1MC community organizers like Kevin Manninen, dean of Finlandia’s International School of Business (ISB) and associate professor of Management & Marketing, offer valuable advice to presenters at these one-of-a-kind networking events. Finlandia business students form investment laboratory

There’s a new investment club on the Finlandia campus. Nicholas Tobey Elected as 2020 Student Representative

The 2020 Finlandia University graduating class will have a celebration unlike any other. Although the May 21st commencement ceremony will not be in person like previous years, but a virtual ceremony instead, the graduating class will still hear from their student representative, Nicholas Tobey. Tobey has been a successful student and leader in and out of the classroom.

Finding New Life at Finlandia

For more than 40 years the Canal Run has been creating incredible memories for those who live in and visit Michigan’s Keweenaw Peninsula. Third Session of Adulting 101 to Take Place on April 16

The third session of Adulting 101 will take place April 16 from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at the Chapel of St. Matthew.

This session will host three speakers. Accounting professor Laura Sieders will discuss the importance of budgeting and how to be a smart investor. How to navigate student loans will be presented by Director of Student Financial Services Sandy Turnquist. Finally, Human Resource Manager Alyson DeLandsheer will explain work benefits and what they mean.
