On June 14, alumni, friends and family of Finlandia University joined together in support of Giving Day 2022 in an effort to raise money for student textbooks. Determined to find a way to give back to students, Finlandia’s Alumni Board (FAB) started Giving Day in 2019 and has since raised more than $60,000 in its efforts.

The revival of the Student PTA Club at Finlandia University has brought a number of charitable events to campus since its reboot last fall. During the summer of 2019 six Finlandia University students will travel to London to explore and compare the chronic disease management models and methods used in the USA and UK.
Students will visit healthcare facilities to learn about strategies used to improve health of chronically ill populations. They will also visit Oxford City to explore the influence of research done by Oxford University in this field.

Students from the Young Women’s Caucus for Art are hosting their annual Soup and Silent Art Auction Fundraiser on Saturday, November 18 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Finnish American Heritage Center.

Young Women’s Caucus for Art raising money for conference
The Young Women’s Caucus for Art at Finlandia University is hosting its annual Soup and Art Auction fundraiser Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Finnish American Heritage Center.

The Finlandia Blue Line Club Golf Outing is Sunday, September 4 at the Calumet Golf Course.
