Event is from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Finnish American Heritage Center
Students from the Young Women’s Caucus for Art are hosting their annual Soup and Silent Art Auction Fundraiser on Saturday, November 18 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Finnish American Heritage Center.
Attendees will receive all-you-can-eat soup, bread, desserts and coffee in addition to participating in the silent art auction, which will include work by community artists and FinnU students. All funds raised will help the students make a trip to the national Women’s Caucus for Art conference in Los Angeles this upcoming February.
Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students and can be purchased at the door or from a YWCA student. If the ticket is purchased ahead of time, they are only $8 for adults.
Members of the Young Women’s Caucus for Art are still seeking donations or art from local artists, and is also accepting monetary donations.
