2022 Alumni Exhibit Virtual Tour | Finlandia University Gallery

Due to popular demand, the 2022 ISAD Alumni Exhibit has been extended until April 19.

“The public response to this exhibit has been exceptional,” Gallery Director Carrie Flaspohler said. “I have extended the exhibit until April 19th to allow for more in-person viewing, but if you are from out of the area, please enjoy this video tour of the exhibit.”

BFA Diploma Works Exhibition opens Saturday

The 2018 International School of Art & Design graduating seniors are Zong Deng (Graphic Design), Levi Grannis (Intermedia), Olivia Leukuma (Graphic Design), Taylor Ruotsala (Fiber and Fashion Design), Hannah Scott (Graphic Design), Mark Siminski (Graphic Design), Abigail Tembreull (Intermedia), William Thompson (Ceramics), Clancy Tunstall (Graphic Design) and Sara Williams (Intermedia).

It’s On Us Week of Action with Erin Barnett on Finlandia Fridays

This week Finlandia Fridays was visited by Dean of Students Erin Barnett to promote the campus wide It’s On Us campaign. It’s On Us is a national campaign that was started by former Vice President Joe Biden that raises awareness for sexual assault. Finlandia was awarded a grant from the Michigan State Police to advocate the campaign. Bridget Durocher runs through Finlandia fitness

Finlandia Fridays gets fit this week with Bridget Durocher, Finlandia’s cross country coach, senior women administrator in athletics, and strength and conditioning center coordinator.

Durocher joined Finlandia University nearly one year ago and has never looked back. “It’s phenomenal, it is a place of opportunity where if you put forth the effort, you are going to be given ample opportunities,” said Durocher. Finlandia honors 117 for academic achievement during fall semester

Finlandia University is proud to announce its Fall 2016 semester Dean’s and Honors List Students. In total 117 students earned honors, including 63 who earned Dean’s List honors for having a Grade Point Average of 3.75 or above.

Nursing student Nathan Meyette works on an IV during a clinical session. Meyette is one of 63 students to have earned a spot on the Dean’s List for having a GPA above 3.75 during the fall 2016 semester.
