Stuber (’22) joins FinnU Finance Department

Finlandia University’s Finance Department is pleased to welcome Michael Stuber (‘22) as their newest accountant. Stuber (Hancock, MI) graduated from FinnU’s International School of Business in May 2022 with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and a minor in Business Management. 

“I am excited to be working at Finlandia University because it allows me the opportunity to stay in my hometown and be close to my friends and family,” Stuber said. “I am also excited to be working for Finlandia as it is the place I graduated from 3 months ago so it provides me with a very unique opportunity to be around and work with many familiar faces from my time as a student.”

While at Finlandia, Stuber served as a work-study in the Finance Department for two years, including an additional semester as an intern. During his senior year, Stuber also had the opportunity to co-found the Finlandia Multi-Variate Screening and Portfolio Construction Data Analytics Lab, or as it is more commonly known, the Finlandia Investment Lab.

Stuber said that in his free time he mainly enjoys spending time with friends and family. A local to Hancock, Stuber said he also enjoys spending his summers on the water and his winters playing hockey on any of the many outdoor rinks in the area.
