Perreault (’18) elected to CLK Foundation Board of Directors

Nathan Perreault, an Assistant Professor of Management with Finlandia’s International School of Business (ISB), was recently elected to the Calumet-Laurium-Keweenaw (CLK) Foundation Board of Directors. The foundation is a local non-profit organization created to support students of the CLK school system by funding programs aimed at providing an extra edge in today’s competitive world.

“I am honored to be able to serve the CLK community,” Perreault said. “Being elected to the CLK Foundation Board allows me to volunteer in an educational setting. Calumet High School has a special place in my heart and this position allows me to give back.”

A graduate of Calumet High School, Perreault went on to attain an Associate of Applied Science and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Healthcare Management from Finlandia University. Following Finlandia, Perreault attained a Master of Business Administration from Western Governors University.

“This position also allows me to create relationships and learn from fellow leaders in the community. I hope to accomplish growth and knowledge of the CLK Foundation. I aim to support student programs for growth at all levels of the educational sector. It’s my aim to award scholarships to individuals with a high desire for postsecondary education.”

The CLK Foundation is run by a group of volunteers, its Board of Directors, who aim to develop and provide financial support to the CLK school systems to allow an enhanced educational experience for all CLK students.

Sharing sentiment on behalf of the CLK Foundation was Board Secretary Chris Davidson.

“The CLK Foundation is extremely excited by the recent approval of Mr. Nathan Perreault to its Board of Directors. Nathan’s professional background in post-secondary education along with his Copper King pride make him a wonderful addition to a foundation board that is committed to the development, implementation, and maintenance of educational programs which significantly contribute to advancing the education of the Public Schools of Calumet, Laurium, and Keweenaw.”
