Nathan Perreault Joins ISB as Assistant Professor of Management

September 23, 2020

Alumnus Nathan Perreault joined Finlandia’s International School of Business this past year as an Assistant Professor of Management.

Perreault has a background in teaching and business. He has an Associate degree in Medical Billing and Coding Specialist and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Healthcare Management from Finlandia University, as well as a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Western Governors University.

He began working as a substitute teacher at local high schools while in his junior year at Finlandia and discovered that he loves teaching and helping to change student’s lives, which drove him to become a professor.

“My favorite part about teaching at Finlandia would be the student interaction with faculty. I really appreciate the one-on-one time that professors get with students, and the way I can help change student’s lives for the better” said Perreault.

Perreault is currently teaching the following courses: leadership team skills, principles of management, business finance, and business research. He hopes that if students take one thing away from his courses, that it would be that “as long as you’re willing to work for it, you can achieve whatever you want.”

“Nathan has a passion for teaching that will be an inspiration for our students,” said Kevin Manninen, the Dean of the International School of Business at Finlandia, “As a Finlandia business graduate, he’s in tune with our mission and vision for providing quality business education that will effectively prepare our graduates for success in their chosen careers fields. We are happy to have him as a member of our team.”

When Perreault isn’t teaching at Finlandia, he enjoys lifting weights, four wheeling, and helping local coach High School sports.
