North Wind Books Now Taking Online Textbook Orders

North Wind Books is making purchasing textbooks a lot easier and safer for students this year. Due to Covid-19, North Wind Books has implemented a new way for students to order books that will limit their time spent inside the bookstore. Students can complete the online textbook order form with the courses they are looking to purchase books for and North Wind Books will respond with the appropriate selections for each class and a total. Orders will be prepared for pick up at the Textbook Pickup door. 

North Wind Books will begin fulfilling orders August 10th for pickup. The Textbook Listing is available and will be updated as new course information is available. Student Financial Aid Accounts open for purchasing on Monday, August 17. Students may purchase textbooks using their Student Accounts, Credit Card, Cash or Check.

Please do not enter the bookstore to purchase textbooks, but instead contact North Wind ahead of time to have your items ready at (906) 487-7217 or bookstore@finlandia.edu.

Students & Families Still Welcome to Come Inside

Although North Wind Books isn’t open for textbook browsing, they do still welcome students and their families to enter and purchase all of their FinnU swag, including Finlandia face masks. All patrons are asked to take note of the new protocols while visiting the bookstore:

Face masks are required to enter the bookstore.  

If you are unable to wear a face mask please call (906-487-7217) or email bookstore@finlandia.edu to arrange for curbside pickup   Please keep proper social distance to allow every customer the opportunity to browse our store.  Hand Sanitizer is available at the store entrance & also at the checkout counter.  

If you feel ill please do not enter the bookstore.

Please follow directional signage.

We will have one way traffic for entering the bookstore, as well as one way traffic to exit.  Please stop at the door entrance to make sure we are not at browsing capacity.  Once inside please social distance 6 feet at all possible times.  Face masks must remain on at all times while inside the bookstore.
