Semester Textbook Awards open until August 7

The FinnU Vacc to School Challenge, which will provide free textbooks for the semester to 10 Finlandia students, is open to submissions until August 7.  To apply, students are asked to submit their full or partial (1st shot) vaccination card. Winners will be announced on August 20 at a live drawing event during Convocation. The award will be redeemable for either semester during the 2021-2022 school year.

The Challenge isn’t the only textbook award available for FinnU students entering Fall 2021, though. On June 16, Finlandia’s wholehearted community came together for Giving Day 2021 to raise a record $15,000 toward the Finlandia Alumni Association Textbook Awards. With applications open until August 6 at 4:30 p.m., the Alumni Association will provide as many possible FinnU students with an individual $250 award to help pay for textbooks. Winners of the Alumni Association Textbook Award will be announced prior to the start of the semester. Both awards are redeemable at North Wind Books.
