FinnU Overview Episode 2: What’s there to do in Hancock, anyway?

April 8, 2021

In their second episode, FinnU Overview hosts and International School of Business students Jakob Vettori (Marketing) and Joe Watson (Accounting) make the case for staying in the Keweenaw over the summer. The pair also highlighted Finlandia Hall as the ‘Building of the Week’ and talked about the amenities it provides students, as well as #CrushCOVID Week, happening now.

“In the summer you can go on a hike and see the views,” said Vettori about Hungarian Falls. “That’s really what this place is about is the views, which is why we encourage people to stick around for the summer. I know it’s tough not to go back home. We’re a small town, you’ll find some friends and hopefully they’ll be locals that can show you around.”

FinnU Overview will be available every other week on the Finlandia Podcast Network. The logo was created by Art Therapy major Casana Ryynanen. Listen to the full episode below and subscribe so as not to miss upcoming episodes.
