Diversity Dinner menu brings world of taste to Finlandia Hall Cafe on April 20
April 13, 2022A Finlandia tradition that is sponsored by the Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Committee, Diversity Dinner features dishes that are made from recipes submitted by FinnU students, faculty and staff. This event celebrates the unique backgrounds of the diverse Finlandia student body and highlights a different culture for each dish.
A fundraiser will also be held to support Ukrainians in their time of need. All donations will go to the Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Service (LIRS). If you would like a way to put your prayers into action, donate today to refugee support provided by LIRS.
The dishes featured at this year’s Diversity Dinner will include:
Chicken kyiv (Ukrainian)
Kapusnyak (Ukrainian)
Coconut Shrimp (Caribbean)
Kropsua (Finnish)
Chicken Katsu (Japanese)
Who: Open to all Finlandia students (resident and commuter), faculty, and staff.
When: Wednesday, April 20th @ 4:30pm – 7:00pm
Where: Finlandia Hall Cafeteria
Cost: FREE! (This includes faculty and staff!)
