Scholarship open to all majors, applications due by March 2
Freshman women at Finlandia University have a unique opportunity to receive a scholarship that can be used during the 2018-19 academic year in the Virginia Fund Scholarship. Applications are now being accepted. They are due by March 2.

Phyllis Fredendall, who is in charge of the fiber and fashion design program at Finlandia, stopped by this week to represent the International School of Art and Design on Finlandia Fridays. The department is launching what they call the Spirit Scholarship, a $500 opportunity for students interested in brining school spirit to campus events.
The Cooperative Center for Study Abroad (CCSA) is pleased to announce that the new Winter 2017-18 CCSA Scholarship is open for student applications. The deadline is September 29, 2017.
The CCSA Scholarship encourages student participation in CCSA and supports students with verifiable financial need based upon their home campus status and recommendation.

Financial Aid Form (FAFSA)
Students seeking financial aid must submit a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The FAFSA application can be completed on-line at fafsa.ed.gov. Federal and/or state financial aid programs also use information provided by the FAFSA.
The FAFSA must be completed each year and should be submitted as soon after February 1 as possible for financial aid consideration the following academic year. Finlandia University must be listed on the FAFSA using Federal School Code 002322. [...]

The Summer Bridge Program at Finlandia University will kick off on June 26 for its second year – allowing students to get ahead and better prepare themselves for college.
“Our Summer Bridge Program offers a unique opportunity for our incoming students to ease into the demands of college coursework with highly coordinated support and opportunities to explore the local area during our beautiful summer,” Director of Academic Success and Student Life Erin Barnett said.
