Finlandia University is committed to making a high quality, liberal arts-based, private education in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula as affordable as possible. In mid-May the National Association of Independent Colleges and Universities published the following story on student loan interest rates, which have been dropped to the lowest they’ve been in 10 years.
“This is great news for our students and their families,” Director of Student Financial Services Sandy Turnquist said. “We watch these rates carefully because we know this will affect the day-to-day lives of many students.”
Finlandia University students and their families are invited to save 5 percent on tuition by paying their bill, either for the full year or the fall semester, by June 30.
“This is a great way for families to save as much as $1,694,” Director of Student Financial Services Sandy Turnquist said. “Finlandia strives to be as inexpensive as possible for students, and this is just another way people can make the college experience more affordable.”
