Volunteer with the Great Bear Chase this March

The UP Health System Great Bear Chase Ski Marathon is looking for volunteers to assist with its annual event. The Great Bear Chase includes three distances, with separate races and starts for classic and freestyle: 50k, 25k, and 10k. The Great Bear Chase also includes a 50km skiathlon (25km classic and 25km freestyle). Races are held at the Swedetown ski trails in Calumet, Michigan, which receives more than 230 inches of snow each year. A Virtual GBC has been added this year as well.

Organizers are looking for volunteers to assist with event registration, aid stations, set-up and event management, and handing out pasties during their drive-through banquet.
