Looking to Help? The Table Student Needs Pantry is in Need of Donations

March 23, 2020
Alumni and friends looking for a way to help FinnU students through the Covid-19 crisis can easily contribute. The Finlandia student needs pantry, The Table, is still open to local students and the community who are in need of food and personal items, no questions asked.
“Right now several students have stopped by to stock up on basics from the food pantry, but it is open to the community at this time as well,” said Pastor Sarah Semmler-Smith.
Pastor Sarah said The Table is running low on the following items:
    • Ground beef or turkey
    • Bagels or loaves of bread
    • Cereal
    • Pop Tarts
    • Granola Bars
    • Crackers
    • Easy Mac
    • Apples (fresh)
    • Baby carrots
    • Potatoes
    • Flour
    • Butter
If you would like to make a drop-off donation to The Table, you can leave the donation in the basement of the chapel, Monday through Friday from 9am-3pm.
Monetary donations can also be made by online here (please denote The Table under “specific purposes”). Checks can also be made out to Finlandia University with “The Table” listed in the memo and mailed to Finlandia University 601 Quincy Street, Hancock MI 49930.
For questions, please contact Pastor Sarah at Sarah.Semmlersmith@finlandia.edu or 906-487-7239.
