Finlandia volunteers at the 2018 Feeding America Mobile Food Pantry in Ontonagon.
On Thursday, November 5, Finlandia University will be hosting a Mobile Food Pantry in the parking lot between Old Main and the Chapel of St. Mattew. The virtual baccalaureate service offers graduates and families the opportunity to gather for a time of worship centered on prayers, blessings, and homily. From the Chapel of St. Matthew, Pastor Sarah Semmler Smith will preside over this special virtual edition.
Finlandia University is honoring its graduating class with a religious farewell service. This year’s Baccalaureate will be much different than in previous years. Due to social distancing guidelines, this year’s Baccalaureate will be held virtually from the Chapel of Saint Matthew on Sunday, May 3 at 10:00 a.m.
