Former ISAD adjunct will serve as Visiting Assistant Professor for 2022-23

Finlandia University is pleased to announce that Lindsey Heiden will serve as a full-time Visiting Assistant Professor for the 2022-2023 academic year. Heiden has been an adjunct instructor in FinnU’s International School of Art & Design (ISAD) since 2018.

Virtanen’s research to be featured in three PBS world premieres this weekend

On Sunday, March 13, the world premiere of three documentary films featuring the research and production-related work of Finnish & Nordic Studies Professor Hilary-Joy Virtanen will take place on PBS station WNMU-TV Marquette as part of their Festival! 22 pledge programming.

Finlandia Highest Ranked UP School for “Most Affordable Schools in Michigan for a Bachelor’s Degree” Ranking

Finlandia University is celebrating another award, this time for affordability. FinnU was ranked by Affordable Schools as the most affordable school in the Upper Peninsula as part of the Most Affordable Schools in Michigan for a Bachelor’s Degree. Across the entire state, FinnU was ranked 13th out of 20.

Joyce Koskenmaki’s Retrospective opens January 19
