Relive #FinnUSpringBreak Snapchat Takeover

Finlandia University students escaped the blowing snow of the Upper Peninsula this past week on spring break and invited you to tag along. Through efforts of the Marketing and Communications department at Finlandia, nine students were selected to take over the university’s Snapchat account to show viewers what unique things they were up to during break.

FinlandiaU’s Snapchat is going on Spring Break

Finlandia University’s Snapchat is going on spring break via its students. Starting with art students attending the Self Employment in the Arts Conference in Chicago, February 25 and culminating with Katelyn Anderson on March 4 as she makes her way back to the U.P.

Did you know Finlandia snaps?

Finlandia University has been in heavy pursuit to grow its presence on Snapchat and is inviting you to be a part of it. Finlandia’s Snapchat (FinlandiaU) posts daily to inform its students and staff about upcoming events and other ways to be involved within the community. Recently the account visited a local tradition, a mid winter celebration known as Heikinpäivä.

“It is a fun and current way to engage the students of Finlandia University” said Walker Enstad, Media Intern.
