Students in field

Did you know Finlandia snaps?

February 6, 2017

Finlandia University has been in heavy pursuit to grow its presence on Snapchat and is inviting you to be a part of it. Finlandia’s Snapchat (FinlandiaU) posts daily to inform its students and staff about upcoming events and other ways to be involved within the community. Recently the account visited a local tradition, a mid winter celebration known as Heikinpäivä.

“It is a fun and current way to engage the students of Finlandia University” said Walker Enstad, Media Intern.

Finlandia’s Snapcode

Finlandia invites you to join the movement by adding the school on Snapchat. This can be done by opening the Snapchat app, swiping down on the home screen and tapping “Add Friends.” From there simply enter FinlandiaU and hit add. This will allow you to see all posts and keep you up to date on everything #FinnU. Another simple way to catch all the great content Finlandia has to offer via Snapchat is to open the app and take a quick snap of our Snapcode. This will directly add you as our friend without any additional steps.

Snapchat takeover

Want to tell your own story on Finlandia’s Snapchat, or preview an upcoming local event? Feel free to inquire about a “Snapchat Takeover.” FinlandiaU has visited numerous sites including local hospitals, sporting events and has even had some ROTC combat training. Finlandia welcomes all students, staff and alumni to join in and takeover the account.

If interested please address all inquiries to Walker Enstad at wsenstad@finlandia.edu.
