Student Senate President Arty Puntus talked with President Johnson on November 4 for the Student Senate Forum.
On Wednesday, November 4, Student Senate President Arty Puntus sat down with Finlandia University president Philip Johnson for the annual Student Senate Forum. The forum is aimed at answering the most concerning questions from students, which this year focused on remote learning, breaks and other COVID-19 considerations such as graduation and offerings in the cafeteria.
Student Senate will be sitting down with President Johnson at 5 p.m. and broadcasting it on Finlandia’s Instagram account. To voice concerns or ask questions of Student Senate or President Johnson, please fill out this form.
Dress up in your best Halloween costume and participate in a spike ball tournament hosted by Student Senate on Friday, Oct. 30. Everything will take place in the Paavo Nurmi Gym and you can sign up here to be an individual or a team of two for the tournament, which will start at 7:15 p.m. Judging for the Halloween costume contest will commence at 8 p.m. and the top three costumes will win cash prizes.

The 2020 Finlandia University graduating class will have a celebration unlike any other. Although the May 21st commencement ceremony will not be in person like previous years, but a virtual ceremony instead, the graduating class will still hear from their student representative, Nicholas Tobey.
