Finlandia Fridays explore exclusive Ponsse internship for FinnU students

This week on Finlandia Fridays, marketing and management professor Kevin Manninen stopped by to talk about Finlandia’s International School of Business (ISB) and an upcoming internship opportunity for Finlandia students.

Following an announcement earlier this week, the Ponsse Einari Vidgrén Foundation Internship application period is now open. The internship, exclusive to Finlandia students, features two to three weeks each spent at Ponsse North America in Rhinelander, Wisconsin and Ponsse Plc headquarters in Vieremä, Finland, in May and June 2023.

International School of Business hires new Assistant Professor of Management

Beth Agen recently joined Finlandia’s International School of Business as an Assistant Professor of Management.

Agen attained a Bachelor of Arts in Media Communications from St. Norbert College, an MBA with a concentration in Leadership from Liberty University and is currently completing her doctoral thesis for a Doctorate of Education, EdD, in Organizational Leadership: Organizational Development, from Grand Grand Canyon University. Student Spotlight: McEwen Stapleton, Management & Entrepreneurship

When McEwen Stapleton transferred to Finlandia University from Hope College, he was looking for a place where he could be himself.

“Overall, I’m an outdoor-oriented individual and Hope College is dead-center in Holland,” said Stapleton, who is originally from Frankfort, Mich. “I am thankful for my experiences there, but it just didn’t feel like me. The city air starts to feel heavy after a while, and Finlandia felt more like me and just better since it’s in a rural setting.”

Area High School Students Experience Business Day at Finlandia
