Finlandia University has finalized a Teach-Out Agreement with the University of Dubuque in Dubuque, Iowa. UD is Finlandia’s eighth official Teach-Out Institution, joining Adrian College, Bay College, Michigan Technological University, Northeast Wisconsin Technical College, Northern Michigan University, Waldorf University, and Wartburg College.

Founded in 1852, the University of Dubuque is a private, coed university with a 77-acre campus that sits near the scenic bluffs along the Mississippi River in a dynamic river town that’s grown into a center of business and culture. At UD, the value of an education is measured in helping students find their calling in life through academics, community, character, vocation, and stewardship. UD’s approach to learning is based on professional programs with a liberal core that prepares students to find their purpose and make meaningful contributions to the world.

UD offers 41 bachelor’s and master’s programs for students. There are also 30 intramural sports teams, 18 NCAA Division III teams, and around 40 student organizations.
