Applications now being accepted for 2023 Ryan Bessolo, MSN, RN, CMSRN Memorial Endowed Scholarship

Nursing program students entering into their junior and senior year are invited to apply

Applications are now being accepted for the Ryan Bessolo, MSN, RN, CMSRN Memorial Endowed Scholarship. The application deadline for the scholarship is Monday, March 13, 2023.

Nursing students heading into their junior or senior year with a GPA of 3.25 GPA or higher may be eligible for the scholarship. Qualified applicants must be continuing their nursing studies at Finlandia University the following year.

The Academic Achievement Committee, in coordination with Finlandia’s Nursing Department, will review applications, and the recipient will be notified via email ahead of the Spring Honors Banquet. Recognition will occur at the Spring Honors Banquet on Friday, April 14, 2023, and the $500 award will be applied to the 2023-24 academic year.

How to Apply:

Applicants must submit their application with a letter of recommendation and a brief essay to be eligible. Students may reapply for this scholarship for multiple years, but not more than three years in a row.
