Alpha Lambda Delta 2019 Initiation Ceremony is March 21

March 16, 2019

The Finlandia University Chapter of the Alpha Lambda Delta National Honor Society will initiate its 2019 members on Thursday, March 21 at 4:30 p.m. in the Chapel of St. Matthew.

This event is free and open to the public. Initiates are encouraged to invite their academic advisors, family, friends and athletic coaches. Founded in 2015 by Dean of Students & Enrollment Erin Barnett, the Finlandia University chapter serves to recognize the hard work of first-year students and to provide them a network for public service, social and academic programming, and scholarship funding opportunities. Full-time students who earn a 3.5 grade point average in their first semester of college are eligible to join.

The organization is co-advised by Dr. Hilary-Joy Virtanen and Dr. Richard Gee. For more information, contact Dr. Virtanen at hilary.virtanen@finlandia.edu.
