Academic Achievement Committee Announces 2021 Honors & Awards Recipients

In a normal year, Finlandia’s Academic Achievement Committee hosts the Honors & Awards Banquet for students who have been selected to receive endowed scholarships and honors. This year, the committee opted to honor these students during Finlandia’s hybrid commencement ceremony held on Thursday, April 29. 114 honored on Spring 2019 Dean’s and Honors List

Kenneth Kujawa and Malone Hiebert make the walk across campus this winter. Hiebert and Kujawa are both Spring 2019 Dean’s List students.

Finlandia University is proud to announce its Spring 2019 semester Dean’s and Honors List Students. In total 114 students earned honors, including 68 who earned Dean’s List honors for having a Grade Point Average of 3.75 or above.

Twelve initiated into first-year honors society

New Alpha Lambda Delta members were joined by returning students for a group photo following the ceremony.

Student success in the classroom was celebrated Thursday night as 12 freshmen were initiated into the Finlandia University chapter of Alpha Lambda Delta, a national honor society for first-year success.

Alpha Lambda Delta 2019 Initiation Ceremony is March 21

The Finlandia University Chapter of the Alpha Lambda Delta National Honor Society will initiate its 2019 members on Thursday, March 21 at 4:30 p.m. in the Chapel of St. Matthew.

This event is free and open to the public. Initiates are encouraged to invite their academic advisors, family, friends and athletic coaches.
