Finlandia University senior Marketing major Madelyn Waterman has been selected for the 2023 Ponsse Einari Vidgrén Foundation Internship. Finlandia and Ponsse are proud to welcome Waterman into this position as the first internship recipient since 2019, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Finlandia Fridays explore exclusive Ponsse internship for FinnU students

This week on Finlandia Fridays, marketing and management professor Kevin Manninen stopped by to talk about Finlandia’s International School of Business (ISB) and an upcoming internship opportunity for Finlandia students.

Following an announcement earlier this week, the Ponsse Einari Vidgrén Foundation Internship application period is now open. Applications now open for 2023 Ponsse Internship

Application deadline is Friday, January 27, 2023

Finlandia University students can now apply for the Ponsse Einari Vidgrén Foundation Internship. The internship will consist of approximately two weeks spent at Ponsse North America in Rhinelander, Wisconsin and approximately three weeks at Ponsse Plc headquarters in Vieremä, Finland, in May and June 2023.

Ponsse Einari Vidgrén Foundation Internship returns for Finlandia students in 2023

Application period is expected to open in December 2022

Ponsse and Finlandia University are pleased to announce an upcoming internship opportunity for a Finlandia University student. The internship will last approximately five to six weeks, including two at Ponsse North America in Rhinelander, Wisconsin and three at Ponsse Plc Headquarters in Vieremä, Finland. Haley Makela Named 2019 Student Representative for Finlandia University

Finlandia University’s 2019 graduating class will hear from marketing major Haley Makela during this year’s commencement ceremony as the local student was selected as Student Representative. Tobey is the fifth intern to be selected for Finlandia’s exclusive internship

Finlandia University is pleased to announce that Nick Tobey has been chosen as the 2019 Ponsse Eineri Vidgrén Foundation intern.

Finlandia University is thrilled to welcome Juha Vidgren, Chairman of the Board, Ponsse PIc,, to campus. Vidgren has been on the board of Ponsse since 2000, and with the company since 1998.

Vidgren will be giving a presentation at the Finnish American Heritage Center on Wednesday, February 13 at 3 p.m. The presentation, titled How a one man operation in rural Finland became a global leader, will center around the idea of what anyone can accomplish if they apply themselves.

Ponsse Einari Vidgrén Foundation Internship application period is now open

Once again, Ponsse and Finlandia University are pleased to announce an exclusive internship position for a Finlandia University student at Ponsse North America in Rhinelander, Wisconsin (approximately two weeks) and Ponsse Plc headquarters in Vieremä, Finland (approximately three weeks). For the third year in a row, Finlandia University and Ponsse, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of forest machines for the cut-to-length method, have partnered for to offer the Ponsse Einari Vidgrén Foundation Internship.
