Eat a Pickled Egg at the Douglas Saloon
A Copper Country staple, pickled eggs can be purchased at the Douglas Saloon located in downtown Houghton. For those who like a little kick, ask for a jalapeno with your egg.
Visit Copper Harbor
On your way to Brockway, go the extra couple miles to visit Copper Harbor. Stop by the harbor to see if the Isle Royale Queen IV is in docked or out on a voyage.
Attend an Event at the Finnish American Heritage Center
Hosting a variety of FinnU and community events, there is always something going on at the Finnish American Heritage Center. May 1, from 6 p.m. to 8, there will be a celebration in honor of Vappu May Day. Busy studying for that last final on Wednesday night?
