Applications are now being accepted for the Portage Health Foundation Scholarship opportunity to Finlandia University students studying healthcare and coming from Houghton, Keweenaw, Baraga or Ontonagon counties. The scholarship can be awarded to the same person for up to four years.
This scholarship is open to returning and incoming FinnU students.
Recently announced by FinnU Student PTA Club Advisor Sami Dowling, this year’s Massage by Donation event will be held from 3 – 7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 5. Students, faculty and staff are invited to attend.

Since 1998, the Harry A. and Margaret D. Towsley Foundation has partnered with Finlandia University in providing instrumental funding toward technology and equipment. Finlandia’s Financial Aid department recently welcomed alumna Jenna Rajala (’15) as the new Coordinator of Student Accounts. Rajala started her higher education journey as a Finlandia student in 2004 and returned to finish her Physical Therapist Assistant degree at the university in 2015.
