Student PTA Club invites you to Massage by Donation April 11

The Finlandia University Student PTA Club will host its second annual Massage by Donation event on Tuesday, April 11. The event is an opportunity for PTA students to use their newly learned skills and raise money for a charitable cause. All proceeds from the fundraiser will be donated by the club, which has given generously to charitable programs such as Bay Cliff Health Camp, Shoes4Kids and Omega House over the past year.

First-year PTA students gain valuable experience

The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program at Finlandia University is the only PTA program in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Student PTA Club Hurricane Ian Relief Project

Help out with hurricane relief!

Hurricane Ian made landfall in Florida on Wednesday, September 28, as a Category 4 storm. Florida residents are in need of cleaning supplies to help make their homes livable again.

The Finlandia PTA club is collecting cleaning supplies now through October 17 to donate to people affected by Hurricane Ian and is asking supporters to offer what they can to the project.

Massage by Donation is April 5!

Recently announced by FinnU Student PTA Club Advisor Sami Dowling, this year’s Massage by Donation event will be held from 3 – 7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 5. Students, faculty and staff are invited to attend.

Massage by Donation is both a fundraiser and an experiential learning opportunity for FinnU students. Money raised through the fundraiser will fund additional PTA Club events in the future while the students of PTA 235 Massage and Patient Handling [...]

The revival of the Student PTA Club at Finlandia University has brought a number of charitable events to campus since its reboot last fall.
