Flu shot clinic for students, employees on Oct. 4

Finlandia’s Student Health Clinic, located in Nikander Room 14A, is hosting its annual flu shot clinic on Oct. 4 from 3 – 5 p.m. Students, employees and their families are welcome to attend. Please bring your insurance cards with you. $40 is payable by cash, check or credit if no insurance is held while a receipt for reimbursement can also be provided.

The Vaccine available is Afluria Quadrivalent with a CDC link for more information available here.

Flu Shot Clinic

All students and employees are invited to the annual Finlandia University Flu Shot Clinic on Monday, October 12 from 3 to 5 p.m. in Nikander 14A.

This event brings flu shots to campus in a joint effort between Finlandia nursing students, the Finlandia Wellness Committee and the Western U.P. Health Department. Finlandia Competes with other U.P. Universities in ‘Fight the Flu’ Challenge

In an effort to further protect our campus communities throughout the region, the Center for Rural Health at Northern Michigan University is bringing universities throughout the U.P. together to “Fight the Flu”. Students, staff and faculty from Finlandia University, Lake Superior State University, Michigan Technological University and Northern Michigan University are competing to see which school can get the highest percentage of its total population vaccinated against the flu.
