FinnU to host blood drive April 3 at Chapel of St. Matthew

Do your part to help save lives!

Hosted by Finlandia’s Student Nurses Association and the UP Regional Blood Center, a community blood drive will be held on Monday, April 3, from 1 to 4 p.m. in the Chapel of St. Matthew in Hancock. Donors will go to the Chapel’s lower level to complete paperwork and check vital signs before giving blood.

Hosted by Finlandia University Student Nurses Association (FUSNA), a community blood drive will be held on Friday, Nov. 4 from 3:30 – 6:30 p.m. in the Chapel of St. Matthew in Hancock. Donors will go to the lower level of the Chapel to complete paperwork and check vital signs before giving blood.

Postponed: Student Senate to host Mock Rock on Oct. 26

This event has been postponed until the Spring semester.

Show us what you got at the annual Student Senate Mock Rock on Wednesday, October 26 from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. Get a group of friends, choose your favorite song, and sing your heart out at FinnU’s annual lip-syncing contest. Solo entries are welcome, too!

In an entertaining night of music, dance, creativity, and even costumes if you’d like, Mock Rock is all about getting together and having fun!

The Mobile Food Pantry is Back at the Chapel on Dec. 3

On Thursday, December 3, Finlandia University will be hosting another Mobile Food Pantry in the parking lot between Old Main and the Chapel of St. Mattew. Organized through Feeding American West Michigan, mobile food pantries help fill the gap in hunger needs in a community, by supplementing the ongoing work of local pantries with much needed fresh produce, meat, and dairy.
