Student Life: Compete against other colleges during virtual Switchboard Game event
December 21, 2020Upon return from the holiday break, Finlandia University students can look forward to a friendly and fun online competition with other students from St. Xavier University, Dunwoody College and Eastern Gateway Community College. FinnU will be participating in a virtual game event playing classics such as Family Feud, Jeopardy and The Logo Game hosted by Switchboard Games. The event will take place on Thursday, Jan. 28 from 7:30pm-8:45pm on Zoom. Students can join via laptop (preferred) or smartphone, with or without their camera on, to comfortably play in hilarious small group settings. Two winners from each school will take home prizes.
“This event will provide an opportunity for our students to connect safely and have a lot of fun with peers from Finlandia and three other institutions,” said Dean of Students Erin Barnett, who organized the event. “It’s been difficult for students to socialize in meaningful ways this year, and this will provide an added opportunity for them to laugh and win prizes.”
