Select Summer 2020 Online Classes Discounted

April 15, 2020

Registration is officially underway for students and Finlandia University is offering a varied selection of summer online classes by discounting them at a price of $250 per credit hour. This discount will save students over 65% compared to the standard tuition price. High school graduates, visiting, and new or current Finlandia students are eligible for the summer tuition discount.

All courses are eight weeks in length with classes running from May 18 until July 10, 2020. These courses are fast-paced and give students the ability to learn online over the summer break. High school graduates thinking about Finlandia, or others thinking about transferring, can take a class and become more familiar with the university to see if it’s the right fit.

Discounted Summer courses offered include:

  • ARD 160 Art of Appreciation for Non-Art Majors
  • CRJ 101 Intro to Criminal Justice
  • ENG 103 College English I
  • ENG 104 College English II
  • FNS 221 History & Culture of Finland
  • MAT 144 Quantitative Reasoning
  • MUS 122 Music of Europe
  • PHL 212 Ethics – Classical Theories and Contemporary Issues
  • PSY 101 Introductory Psychology

“The $250 credit hour price is a very affordable option and we encourage students to take advantage of it. Not only could it help you get ahead in your degree, but it could also help you lighten your load in the next school year. Whether you are a Finlandia student or a student at another institution we welcome you to take part”, Finlandia University Registrar, Jason Sullivan.

Summer classes provide students with the flexibility and the variety needed to stay on track or speed up degree completion. These classes are well fit for those who are pursuing a degree, who need to complete some continuing education units (CEUs), who want to maintain a certification or just want to take classes.
