This week on Finlandia Fridays, host Jordan Shawhan is joined by Enrollment Counselor Sherry Wyeth to talk about Finlandia’s Online RN-BSN completion track program. The award-winning program recently announced a price drop to a total out-of-pocket tuition cost of $7,500, or $250 per credit hour.
“This program is for working nurses, so if you’re an ADN already working in a clinic, hospital environment or long-term care, this is a great program for you,” Wyeth said. “Classes are eight weeks long and really here to work in your schedule.”
The program is designed for current Registered Nurses with an associate degree to go back to school to earn their Bachelor of Science in Nursing without having to come, physically, to campus. With five start dates, working nurses can work at their own pace and complete their degree in as few as four semesters.
“For local RN’s the biggest thing is although your classes are online, we’re still here in person. So, if you’re having issues with something, you can absolutely connect with your advisor face to face, via email, or on the phone. So that’s huge,” Wyeth said. “The other great thing is it’s going to put you in line for promotions, you’re going to be able to do more, make more money, be more confident in your skills; it’s definitely a positive for people who choose to do it.”Admissions, College of Health Sciences, Finlandia Fridays, Online RN-BSN, Sherry Wyeth
