Brandon Bell Hired as New Director of Campus Safety & Security

Brandon Bell joined Finlandia University’s Campus Safety and Security this past February as the new director. He will be joining the Finlandia staff with 13 years of service with the United States Air Force. His most recent position includes supporting the MQ-9 Reaper Remotely Piloted Aircraft as a meteorologist for the Arizona Air National Guard.

Bell earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Environmental Studies from the University of California-Santa Cruz and his Masters of Science in Environmental Policy and Management from American Military University. Bell has also had combat arms training, qualifying as an expert marksman, and active shooter training.

“Working at Finlandia University provides me an opportunity to share my experiences and educational background to help shape the minds of our future generations,” said Bell.

When Bell is not ensuring the campus is safe and secure, you can find him hunting, fishing, and mountain biking throughout the Keweenaw with his wife and two children.
