Applications now being accepted for 2023 Virginia Fund Scholarship

Freshman women returning as full-time students for the fall 2023 semester invited to apply

Applications are now being accepted for the Virginia Fund Scholarship, which is open to all freshman women at Finlandia University. The scholarship, typically $250-500, is awarded based on academic achievement and contribution to campus life. The Academic Achievement Committee will review applications, and the winner will be announced in the coming weeks. The Virginia Fund Scholarship will be applied to the 2023-24 academic year. Students of all majors are invited to apply, and applications are due by Monday, March 13, 2023.

On the form, students will need to write a statement to the Academic Achievement Committee outlining their accomplishments, memberships in organizations, volunteer service, extra-curricular activities, etc., during their time at the university. Statements should be less than 500 words in length.
