Applications now being accepted for Virginia Fund Scholarship

Freshman women at Finlandia University have a unique opportunity to receive a scholarship that can be used during the 2017-18 academic year in the Virginia Fund Scholarship. Applications are now being accepted. They are due by March 10.

The scholarship is awarded based on academic achievement and contribution to campus life. Applications will be reviewed by the Academic Achievement Committee. Students of all majors are invited to apply.

Along with the basic form, students will need to write a letter to the Academic Achievement Committee outlining their accomplishments, memberships in organizations, volunteer service, extra-curricular activities, etc. during their first semester and change at the university. Letters should be under 500 words in length.
